Under the general supervision of the District Manager and the Store Manager, the Manager-in-Training is responsible for assisting in the profitable operations of the store through selection, development and supervision of qualified personnel. Assists in maintaining sales increases, margins and controllable expenses.
Typical Duties Include:
Promotes quality customer service; meets customers needs.
Assists in meeting or exceeding showroom sales goals.
Interviews, selects, trains and motivates staff.
Assists in controlling operating expenses.
Ensures professional atmosphere of store showroom through attractive merchandise displays and positive demeanor of store personnel.
Responsible for facilities maintenance and store adherence to Corporate policies and practices including security awareness.
Job Requirements:
Ability to satisfy customer needs.
Five to ten years retail sales with managerial experience.
Four-year degree or equivalent work experience with strong background in sales/customer service.
